A CLITHEROE schoolgirl who dreams of becoming a ballerina has won a place at the Royal Ballet School in Manchester.
Aimee Williamson, 11, of West View, has landed a place as an associate of the prestigious dance academy. S
he has also won a scholarship to perform with the English Youth Ballet in Sleeping Beauty at Liverpool's Royal Court theatre next month. St James' primary school pupil Aimee has studied dance at the Angela Westwell School in Moor Lance since she was five.
Mum Irene said: "She really wants a career as a dancer and she's really excited."
