A CRITICALLY acclaimed Darwen singer will headline at this year's Music Live festival.
Natasha Jones, formerly of duo Pooka, will take to the stage at the two-day event at the end of May.
Renowned for her powerful yet delicate melodies, Natasha's forthcoming album features Rob Ellis of PJ Harvey fame and Mark Jones of Peter Gabriel's band.
Natasha, 31, of Sudell Road, has been featured in Q Magazine and Mojo, amongst others, and has played alongside The Levellers, Everything But The Girl and The Tindersticks.
Darwen Music Live is on May 25 and 26 from 3 to 9pm, all across the town.
Cherrybomb, made up of five local boys, will appear at Darwen Music Live as well as at the New Gardners club on Friday, May 30 and Saturday, June 14.
The band play a mixture of chart covers and old classics.
