AMPHETAMINES and can-nabis resin have been seized during a police raid on a Morecambe address.
Acting on intelligence from local people, Sgt Nigel Bywater led a specialist team to a Hornby Terrace property to execute a drugs warrant at 10.30am last Friday.
Police say 'significant quantities' of the class B drugs were found.
PC Andy Taylor, of the targeting team, said: "Drug dealers are a scourge in our communities and this action demonstrates that they will not be tolerated."
"We would urge all residents with information regarding drug dealing in their neighbourhood to come forward so that we can act swiftly and decisively to remove drug dealers from our streets."
* A 30-year-old Morecambe man was arrested and released on bail, pending further enquiries.
