LANCASTER short story maestro Iain Colley will top the bill at Spotlight this weekend.
Iain has been contributing stories, poems and articles to magazines and newspapers for many years and has a string of competition successes to his name.
Spotlight audiences already know him for his series of hilarious short stories detailing the highs and lows of a fictional group of characters living on the fringes of sanity, decency and the law in Morecambe.
Supporting him on the literary bill will be Ann Wilson, co-organiser of 'Aloud', Spotlight_s sister venue in Barrow-in-Furness, and making his debut on the bill after an impressive first appearance at the event's 'open mike' session last month is young poet Simon Baker.
Established Spotlight contributor Richard King will be reading a new short story with an off-beat slant on the rich carpet of life, while music this month comes from one man and his music - Local Hero takes the spot featuring his own original songs alongside the talented 'Irresistible Urges'.
This night of art, literature and memorable music in the uninhibited surroundings of The Yorkshire House tomorrow (Friday) evening from 8.30pm will be compered by Tim Stevens.
