MYERSCOUGH College's junior football teams have been celebrating a successful season.
For the Under 10s team Thomas Eckersley was recognised as Most Improved Player of the Year. Team captain Jonathan Hallam, was crowned 'Player of the Year'.
The newly formed Myerscough Under 9s Green Team, Player of the Year was awarded to Steven Johnson and Most Improved Player was awarded to Sean McCabe.
The Myerscough Under 9s Yellow Team, also in their first season, finished third in the league with the best defence record.
Most Improved Player of the Year was awarded to Joe Blackwell. Player of the Year was given to two players, Jacob Salisbury and Jack Turley, who, according to the team manager showed, "focus and tenacity as well as fantastic playing throughout the season".
