WORLD Fair Trade Day will be celebrated on Saturday with a free food fair in Colne.
It will take place between 11am and 3pm on the market car park.
Residents and visitors will be given the opportunity to taste some unusual foods and see some cooking demonstrations.
Local children will be able to enjoy face painting and have a go at food sculpting.
Anyone attending the fair will be given the chance to win a fair trade food and drink hamper donated by the United Co-operative store in Colne.
Organiser Jane Wright from Pendle Council said: "This is an appetising way to get across the importance of fairly traded food and local produce while having the opportunity to try out different foods and learn how to cook them.
"Residents will get the chance to add to a Colne recipe collection and should try and bring their own recipes - especially if they have a local flavour or have been passed down in the family."
There will be a range of stalls including the Food in Pendle project, food tastings from Colne's Food Co-op and healthy living ideas from Activate.
