LEIGH Folk Club welcomes a group of international recording stars on May 23.
Jez Lowe and the Bad Pennies will take the stage at Leigh Conservative Club, Railway Road, Leigh, at 8.15pm.
Their latest album Honesty Box, their 13th, was voted one of the finest best selling folk albums by Radio 2.
Jez has spent the last 20 years taking his songs of his native north east around the world, and has seen is work recorded by the likes of Fairport Convention and The Dubliners.
