LANCASTER'S first film festival is stir-ring up so much interest that organ-isers have extended the time for people to enter.
The new deadline will be Friday, May 23, it has been revealed.
"We have had a huge response and are getting about four entries each day. We have had lots of calls from people saying they have not quite finished and could we extend - so we have," says Peter Neaves, from Lancaster's Best Centre organisation.
"I am pleased that people have embraced it and I am over the moon at the number of people who want to get involved," he adds.
There could be as many as 50 film entered by the time the new deadline arrives.
