POLICE have cautioned a young girl and want to track down two other youngsters after a Lancaster shop was damaged by fire.
Repair work, costing £30, had to be done to paintwork on the Ryelands Road shop, which is owned by Mal Hussein, after papers were set alight outside last Wednesday evening.
A Lancaster Police spokes-man says it is believed three children were involved, adding: "We take any such incidents seriously. This has been fully investigated, resulting in a 10-year-old girl being officially cautioned for damage.
"There are on-going enquiries to trace the other culprits. We are satisfied it was nothing more than a childhood prank and we are grateful for the co-operation of residents on Ryelands Estate."
