SEVEN junior schools have been learning the art of puppetry.
London-based theatre company Indigo Moon are in Atherton performing The Worm That Squirmed, a show using Indonesian rod puppets. They are following up performances with educational workshops.
Organised by Louise Rowley, the community arts co-ordinator based at Freddies, the show was watched by 83 pupils at the Dorset Road Community Centre followed by a workshop in St George's Primary School on Monday and workshops at Meadowbank and St Richard's RC on Tuesday.
A performance at Fred Longworth High will be followed by workshops at Westleigh Methodist Primary School. Tomorrow workshops take place at Shakerley Primary School.
