PEOPLE who have bought a new Rover recently should check if they've got a spare wheel and jack. Buyers don't automatically get one!
My dad fell for a marque three weeks ago and has just discovered the boot is empty -- apart from an emergency spray to use in case of a puncture.
He wasn't a happy bunny as the salesman failed to reveal the lack of wheel when he did the deal.
On discovering the empty space he stormed back to the out of town garage, and believe me that's not something to be encountered. He was told that if he wanted one it would cost £150. Ridiculous. Surely a spare wheel is an integral part of a car.
If a driver has a blow-out on the motorway or on the moors a can of foam won't be of much use.
Surely a spare tyre is more important than other fancy bits on vehicles.
If the omission is a move to keep the price lower then in my opinion it's a bad one.
