LEARN to be at one with yourself at Carleton Yoga Circle every Tuesday evening at Carleton Memorial Hall, Moorfield Avenue. The class starts at 7.15pm and is mixed age, mixed ability and for both men and women.

'A FUNNY thing happened when I was out sketching' is the title of a talk by Larry Carr at the next meeting of the St Annes-on-Sea WI on June 6. It takes place in the United Reformed Church hall, St George's Road at 2pm.
The group is also running an outing to Stockport Hat Museum and Barton Grange Garden Centre on June 10.

GUEST organist David Thomas will perform at the next concert of Wyre Home Organ Society this Tuesday (May 20). The concert takes place at Thornton Sports and Social Club, Holly Road (off Trunnah Road), at 8pm (doors open at 7pm). Admission costs £2 for members, £3 for guests, children free. The first meeting of Myerscough and Bilsborrow Parish Council will be held at Bilsborrow Village Hall this Tuesday at 7pm. The meeting is open to the public.
BLACKPOOL
Blackpool writers' circle will meet on Monday May 19 at the CVS rooms Abingdon Street, 7-9pm. Newcomers are welcome as guests for two meetings before joining. Annual competitions are held for short stories, poetry, childrens stories and articles. Further details please ring 01253 311381.
