for ME
MEMBERS of the Bury and Bolton ME Support Group will be collecting outside Asda in Radcliffe today during ME Awareness Week.
The local group, which has 81 members, is using the Week to campaign for better services for ME sufferers locally.
Last weekend they held a successful coffee morning at the home of one member in Riverside Road, Radcliffe, in an effort to raise £1,000 for a motorised scooter.
The group meets on the third Thursday of each month at Longsight Methodist Church Hall in Harwood. For more information, contact Mrs Pam Turner on 01204 793846.
