PENDLE traders are being asked to get involved in this year's Barrowford Agricultural Show to help make the event bigger and better.
Trade stand secretary Martin Stanworth said he hopes to put on extra stalls this year to reflect the agricultural traditions associated with the show, which will take place on Sunday, August 31.
Mrs Natalie Cox, vice-chairman of the organising committee, said: "People who visit Barrowford on show day enjoy looking round the park and Bull Holme Playing Fields and we know this year will be no exception. We hope local traders will take this opportunity to get involved with a true village event and help us make this year's show something special."
The committee is also on the look out for more sponsors for the event.
John Watson, the show's sponsorship secretary, has put together a number of packages to attract sponsorship from new businesses, including advertising space and entry to the exclusive president's marquee where lunch and complimentary drinks will be offered.
Companies interested in finding out more should contact John on 01282 696351.
Individuals can also get involved by paying £25 and becoming one of the show's vice presidents. Further details are available from Lesley Walsh on 01282 602384.
Anyone interested in setting up stall on the day should call 01282 690124.
