17:58: Everybody at Ewood rises to their feet as the players congratulate each other and Simon returns to the pitch to say a big thank you.
17:57: The ref blows his whistle and this afternoons tribute to Rovers leading goalscorer comes to an end.

Simon Garner added another goal to his list of Ewood goals by scoring from the penalty spot shortly after the break.

17:39: After a quiet spell the Duff brings fans alive as he fires home Rovers fifth of the afternoon
17:38: Rovers makes another change as Hignett is replaced by Douglas.
17:32: Danns nearly pulls the scores level as he is left unmarked 20 yards out instead of power he tries to lob Robinson but without success.
17:25: Simon Garner leaves the field to thunderous applause and is replaced by Saunders.
17:23: It's another goal to the champions this time it's Newell - he's clean through on goal and slots it home past a diving Robinson

17:20: Champions11 make another change this time Gallacher is replaced by Neil Danns.
17:19: Rovers score a fourth as a freekick is taken quickly for Ostenstad to slot home his second of the afternoon.

The penalty cam about as Kevin Gallacher was deemed to have been fouled by Robinson as he tried an overhead kick
17:16: The champions get a penalty - Garner steps up and GOAL to the hero of the day.
17:15: Garner gets the ball down the left for the champions crosses low to the feet of Bruce but again the post denies the striker.
17:14: Duff shows why he will be the centre of the transfer gossip this summer as he does a trademark run down the cuts inside the defender and shoots - but he is denied by the post
17:12: The second half gets underway with Simon Garner kicking off for the Champions side - he stays on the pitch and nearly scores with his first touch.
Others changes at half time sees Robinson replace Kelly in goal and Duff coming one for Douglas.
16:54: Moments later in inquiry time Hignett makes up for his earlier miss and slots home Rovers third of the half.

16:53: Hignett ends the half in good hearted fashion as he does a juggling act 18 yards out before volleying just over.
16:51: Hughes show his disgust to the ref and linesman after McEveley makes a fair tackle and takes the ball away from the greying spark.
16:48: Today's attendance is 13,397 and Simon thanks all those for turning up.
16:47: Yorke shows us what's been missing all season - as he chests down a chip ball from Tugay turns and volleys straight at Mimms
16:43: Penalty to Rovers11 as Hignett is brought down by - Yorke steps up to take try's to get Mimms to dive but he doesn't and Yorke's chip shot is easily saved.
16:41: Sparky spreads it wide for the champions as they try find the equaliser. But the attack breaks down and Yorke comes away it.
16:38: Another goal to the Rovers11 this time McEveley but the offside flag was up and it doesn't count.

16:36: It's too much for Flowers and after 30 mins he comes off to be replaces by Mimms.
16:35: Another goal to the Rovers 11 - this time its Dwight Yorke who twists and turns in the area and finishes with a crisp shot under Flowers.
16:31: But the champions 11 nearly go back in front as the ball falls to Hughes 5 yards out - but some how he manages to put it over.
16:30: Goal to the Rovers 11 - a nice move which saw Hignett feed the ball through the defence to Ostenstad who had the simple task of slotting the ball home under a diving Flowers.

16:26: Dunn shows his skill and brushes the cross bar with an excellent 20 yard curling shot that had Flowers beaten.
16:23: A late offside flag denies Hignett a one on one chance at goal - the excellent cross field ball was by Dunn.
16:22: Ostenstad is brought down in the penalty box but the ref is having none of it - but the corner is given. It comes out wide to Dunn who's volley ends up in row Z.
16:21: The champions 11 push forward and catch the Rovers defence napping - its played wide to Newell who forces Kelly to make a finger tip save.
16:18: Another corner to 02/03 squad - this time Dunn swings it in but it's headed wide.
16:17: The Rovers 11 get a corner after a spell of possession in front of goal - it's taken short by Dunn and comes to nothing.
16:15: The Rovers 11 string some good passes together and reach deep into the champions half - but the defence holds.
16:13: Again the champions side push forward and beat the offside trap but Kelly is their to make a decent save.
16:11: Goal to the champions it comes from a corner and is slotted home by Bruce.
16:10: It's a slow start by both sides with plenty of tricks and turns to keep the crowd pleased
