THE culmination of the Pride of East Lancashire Campaign will be a glittering gala awards night at King George's Hall in Blackburn on Saturday, November 22.
It will be the night when the winners will be announced, when all 11 awards are presented and the night when East Lancashire celebrates.
It promises to be one of the most spectacular evenings seen in the area for many years which a host of special surprises being planned.
The night will begin with a gala dinner for 400 specially invited guests -- including the finalists and their families in the all the award categories.
Then King George's Hall will be filled to capacity for the gala night itself -- East lancashire's equivalent of the Oscars where showbiz and worthy winners will combine. This glittering occasion will be due in poart to the vital combination of Blackburn with Darwen Council which runs King George's Hall -- the largest venue in East Lancashire.
Over the coming weeks and months will be revealing exciting details about this night to remember which, above all, will be a night to celebrate all that is good about East Lancashire.
