A NEW shop full of eastern promise has been given a civic send-off .
Gouranga -- the word means "be happy"' - stocks furniture and artefacts from a range of countries including Bali, Japan, Malaysia, Indonesia and China.
The new mayor, Councillor Wilf Davison, performed the official opening at the Bolton Street shop. He was accompanied by the mayoress, Mrs Maureen Davison, and (l to r) staff memebr Carol Burton, owner Lynne Warburton and Mrs Ann McCulloch.
