KARATE champion Jason Greensmith is about to open his own martial arts academy, thanks to the support of local businesses.
Jason, a former British champion and member of the Red Sun Karate centre in Bury, has opened his own centre, Ramsbottom Red Sun Karate Academy.
He is sponsored by the 557 nightclub in Bury and by Gary and Denise McLoughlin, landlord and landlady of the Old Dun Horse pub in Ramsbottom.
Jason's club will open each Sunday from 12 noon to 1pm. For details, contact Jason on 07961 590924.
