PATIENTS' different cultural and religious needs are to be highlighted at North Manchester General Hospital this week.
The sessions are part of the trust's commitment to address the needs of all patients in the community.
Individual speakers will cover areas of best practice on caring for Muslim, Jewish, Chinese, Sikh and Hindu patients.
Assistant human resources director Coren Caines said: "Understanding the cultural and religious needs of our patients is crucial to providing good patient care. These sessions inform and advise staff."
