A BURNLEY charity which helps unemployed people with learning difficulties back into work has been given a £1,000 boost.
Fresh Fields Enterprises, based at Rosegrove Nurseries, Cemetery Lane, was presented with a cheque from the Abbey National charitable fund.
The cash will help the group pay for equipment at their Burnley base. The group enables unemployed people with learning difficulties and other needs to have work experience and training. Courses on offer include horticulture, literacy and numeracy and IT.
The charity also helps those applying for jobs by giving help with interviews and writing CVs.
