GRATEFUL mum Beryl Thomas helped raise £820 for Blackburn's Queen's Park Hospital by running the London Marathon.
Beryl, 52, of Hesketh Close, ran in angel wings for the neonatal department which saved her two twins after they were born ten weeks premature.
Katie and Kelly, who celebrate their 21st birthday this year, were given only a 50-50 chance of survival.
Beryl will soon hand over the cheque to hospital staff.
She said: "It was fantastic to run the race and a great experience. I'm so glad that I could raise this money to show my appreciation to the staff who saved my girls' lives.
