A POULTRY firm manager who drove while banned gave police false details after being stopped coming off the motorway.
Burnley Magistrates were told that Mohammed Munawar Chaudhry, 27, was not identified by police until six months later.
The defendant, of Manchester Road, Nelson, admitted driving while disqualified, resisting or obstructing a police officer and driving without insurance.
He was given 40 hours' community punishment, to run on top of an order he is currently serving. He must also pay £65 costs.
The court was told Chaudhry was banned for 12 months in November 2001 and the disqualification was current at the time he was stopped.
Nadeem Rashid, defending, said Chaudhry, an intelligent young man, was now running the family poultry firm after his father was attacked. The risk of reoffending was said to be low.
