AFTER the first two games of the season where hard work and endeavour produced two excellent results, it was the Golborne CC U15s of old which turned up at Little Hulton.
Being put into bat, Little Hulton took some poor bowling to task in the early overs with their three top batsmen scoring 84 runs between them on their way to a total of 149 from their 20 overs. Only James Carr turned in anything approaching respectability with 1-14 from his four overs.
Golborne's reply reached 101-8 with Tom Hart 33, Jamie Foster 20 and Stuart Partridge 15 not out being the main contributors.
