COMPANIES in Bury are being urged to take advantage of the opportunities created by a bigger European Union.
The European Information Centre (EIC) is spearheading a campaign by linking up with embassies and consuls in Europe to identify sales leads and contacts.
International Project Officer Carol Smith said: "An enlarged European Union will boost European stability, security, trade, jobs and prosperity."
The campaign, jointly funded by Brussels and the North West Development Agency, will run a series of business club events.
The first is in Runcorn on July 9 and the second is in North Manchester on July 10. A senior government minister will speak at each event.
