I
T'S coming to something when cars with foreign number plates set nerves on edge.
I came out of a store with my shopping to find a big, metallic blue Ford Taunus parked right behind my vehicle.
That's rare enough in this country but when I saw it had number plates from the United Arab Emirates and a few closed cardboard boxes on the back seat I couldn't get away fast enough.
I don't know why I felt uneasy, terrorists wouldn't advertise where they are from, but the fear is now high in my mind.
It's terrible to distrust people because of a few radicals. I've lived abroad among Arabs and there's not a nicer, kinder race in the world. I was really sad and surprised that I felt that way.
