CHILDREN at Coates Lane Primary School, Barnoldswick, will be putting their talents to good use during a Creativity Week, which starts on Monday, June 16, and runs until Friday, June 20.
On the Monday, the youngsters will take part in a Digital Image Workshop, where they will be putting images on T-shirts. They will then be pulling on their dancing shoes for line dancing classes between 11am and 3pm.
Famous author Gervaise Phinn, will speak to Key Stage 1 and 2 pupils on Tuesday and tasks will be given to the children.
After school, he will talk to teachers and staff and at 7pm parents will be invited to come along and listen to his amusing talk.
Giggleswick School Band will also perform for the school during the day, between 2pm and 3pm.
Drum Dance workshops and music workshops will be held on Thursday throughout the day for every class and on Friday the Infant children will perform Happy Sun High at 9.30am for the school and again at 11am for parents.
Some of the older children will enter a talent show in the afternoon, starting at 1pm and all children will be allowed to join in the theme of non-uniform and beach dress for the final day of the Creativity Week.
