And a last minute planner could help youngsters facing GCSEs relax.
Advice service Connexions Lancashire is now urging young people not to panic as the first week of the exam season comes to a close.
Personal Adviser Isabel Warren has urged young people said: "The coursework has been done, the revision's complete, but young people need to make sure that they get maximum benefit from all their hard work on exam day.
"There are some easily memorable tips that can help all young people make the most of their exams.
"Firstly, young people need to be prepared. Before exams start they need to know the exact date, time and place of every exam to be taken.
"In addition, they need to make sure they have the right equipment and know about what
they are allowed to take into the exam hall.
"The day before the exam is crucial and young people must ensure they get healthy meals, plenty of water to drink, some exercise and some rest in between revision periods.
"Parents and carers should keep things positive by providing lots of reassurance that that they can succeed."
