A CENTRE which gives free independent legal advice received a civic visit on Friday.
Bury Law Centre in Knowlsey Street opened its doors in September but was "officially opened" by new mayor Councillor Wilf Davison.
The Bury Law Centre specialises in housing, employment, public law, mental health and community care and immigration and asylum law. It is funded by the Legal Services Commission and is supported by the council.
Appointments can be made on 0161 272 0666 or call in.
