THE OWNERS of the Bank Hotel in Blackburn have celebrated it becoming a freehouse by slashing the prices for a pint.
Bar manager Stephen McDermott, 39, said that the Hope Street pub could now buy beer cheaper because it was now untied from the brewery - and that was being passed on to customers.
"The new price list is proving really popular, it's coming on well," said Stephen.
