DARWEN MP Janet Anderson will this week speak to Highways Agency bosses about the M65 services sign change.
Echoing the feelings of Darwen residents, the MP voiced her frustration on the length of time it has taken to sort out the problem.
She said: "It's taking so long and nobody really know where the process is at.
"At the end of the day, we want the sign changed because the service station is in Darwen, not Blackburn.
"I will speak to them again this week and make another push for the name change."
Site developers Margrams and the Highways Agency are at loggerheads over who should pay for the change.
A spokesman for the agency said: "We would be happy to consider the possibility of changing the name but we have not, as yet, had a formal application for a change put to us by the property developer.
"As soon as we get this we can start the ball rolling."
