ROSSENDALE carnival will take place on Sunday, June 22, in
Bacup town centre and will host the first human table top football competition.
Entertainment will be provided by the Coconutters, Shawforth Majorettes, Larenzo and Mrs E and the Master of Niagara --Blondin.
The traditional market will have local produce, along with a variety of charity stalls, games, a fun fair and children's rides.
A procession will leave Taylor Holme Industrial Estate at noon for the walk to Bacup town centre to mark the start of the carnival.
The procession is open to everyone: churches, youth groups, sports teams, pubs, clubs, families, individuals.
