THE recent blaze at the Leamington Road, Blackburn, factory/garage was a tragedy for everyone involved.
As a local resident, I feel the fire service must be commended for their hard work, even through the poor weather. They were always polite, even when rushed, very busy and stressed.
They had the residents' safety in mind at all times and tried to reassure panicking people.
