TRAIN passengers using a scenic route will have the opportunity to raise funds for a children's hospice on Sunday.
DalesRail is to donate its profits for the day to Derian House, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year.
Sue Poppit from Derian House said: "Derian House receives only two percent of its funding from statutory sources, so events like the DalesRail charity day are essential for us.
"Over the last 10 years, demand for our services has increased, which means we must raise more money to keep going."
DalesRail offers an integrated package of train, bus links and guided walks, offering access to some of the most beautiful English countryside.
Trains run from Blackburn, Clitheroe, Preston and Blackpool, connecting with services from Manchester and Bolton.
