SHAKERS are on the lookout for a new website manager-cum-press officer after Gordon Sorfleet resigned.

Sorfleet's decision to leave his beloved Shakers will come as a shock after he picked up the UEFA Fan of the Year award last summer for his work during the Save Our Shakers fundraising campaign.

A heavy workload and family pressures have reluctantly forced him to quit his post but the club are keen to play down rumours that the website - a valuable source of information for all supporters and especially exiled ones - is about to be discarded.

Members of the Forever Bury supporters' trust have stepped in to fill the breach and run the site until a more permanent replacement can be found.
