HOW companies can profit in more ways than one from being happier and more successful will come under the microscope at the latest meeting of the Bury-based Greater Manchester Association for Spirit at Work.
The event, to be held next Monday (June 2), will be an opportunity to hear, learn and be inspired about what other organisations are doing around the world as they undergo this transformation to achieve lasting benefits.
Questions to be raised at the meeting, to be held in St James' Church Centre in St James' Avenue between 7.30pm and 9.30pm, will include what is working and what are the challenges and obstacles that are still facing this important work.
Delegates will even get to experience a guided meditation that has been specially recorded to CD and given to 28,000 staff at a bank in Australia.
Much of the material for this meeting comes fresh from the Global Corporate Transformation Tools Conference 2003 which took place earlier this month in the Dominican Republic. People from many different continents and countries came together to share their experience and practices and to have a great time.
Greater Manchester Association for Spirit at Work is run by Summerseat-based businessman Phil Clothier. The organisation is a non-religious group which aims to provide a venue where issues of spirituality and business can be discussed. For more details, contact Phil on 01706 824692.
