TWO piano teachers are working in total harmony to raise money for the Blackpool Victoria Hospital MacMillan Windmill Appeal.
Fylde musicians Ruth Bridge and Belinda Jenkins are hoping to strike the right chord when they stage a concert on Saturday June 21, at Rossall School, Fleetwood.
Then, 30 of their talented students aged from 6 to 19 years of age will be scaling the heights to raise vital funds for the cancer charity.
The event, in the Rossall Big School Hall, starts at 2pm and is open to everyone. Tickets are priced £6 for adults and £3 for children, to include strawberries and cream.
There will also be a raffle on the day.
The concert, which will be the first of many arranged by the pair, will feature piano music ranging from classical to jazz. There will also be a number of duets played too.
Belinda Jenkins said: "Between us Ruth and me have many talented youngsters from all over the Fylde Coast and from abroad. What better way than to bring them together to play the piano to raise money for a charity which is very close to my heart."
The event is called Music for Midsummer's Day and tickets are available by calling Ruth on (01253) 821122.
Ruth said: "We are very grateful to all the students who have worked so hard to prepare for this concert and to the Rotary Club for backing this event.
