LEIGH'S PDSA charity shop is warning supporters to be on their guard against bogus collectors targeting the Tyldesley area.
The advice comes from the Bradshawgate boss after police apprehended a woman claiming to be collecting money on behalf of the veterinary charity.
Shop manager Gill Baxendale said: "All personnel carry official identification which can be verified. We ask everyone to check whether a collector is genuine."
