HE MAY be Britain's best known talk show host, but Jonathan Ross could soon be swapping his spangly suits for the life of a seaside hotelier!
Ross and his wife, Jane Goldman, are reported to have asked estate agents to hunt for a suitable bed and breakfast to buy in Blackpool.
They want a 10 bedroom hotel which would serve as a business investment -- but also a holiday getaway for one of the biggest stars in British television.
Sources close to the family say that the family's children, Betty Kitten, nine, Harvey Kirby, seven and Honey Kinney, four, have grown to love the UK's leading resort on family visits and are keen to
A family friend told a national newspaper at the weekend: "They can't get enough of the rides, arcades and sea. Jonathan is a big kid at heart as well and enjoys days out at the Pleasure Beach.
"The family looks forward to having a home there.
"Jonathan's always been a bit wacky and loves the idea of owning a bed and breakfast."
The Film 2003 host is expected to advertise for a couple to run the guesthouse on a day to day basis.
If the entertainers' dream does come true he won't be the first big name to own a local guest house -- footballing legend, Sir Stanley Matthews, famously owned a bed and breakfast hotel while playing for Blackpool.
Mo Moreland of the Roly Polys also runs a guest house.
He would also join a growing list of big name entertainers who have connections with the Fylde Coast, including the Nolans and Eastenders star, Shane Ritchie.
