REGARDING your report headlined 'No more homes -- we're full up!' (LET, May 26), Whalley, Clitheroe, etc., have been completely spoiled by too many houses being built.
Councillors responsible should be ashamed. Why keep building when the infrastructure simply cannot cope?
All the extra cars -- at least three per house, are making the traffic situation a misery for everyone.
Why do we need all these houses? A survey a few years ago showed 78 per cent of the people on one Clitheroe estate were from out of town, so they are certainly not for Clitheroe people's needs.
Young people certainly cannot afford the houses being built and are having to move further afield.
