A CHARITY run was celebrated in Ramsbottom town centre yesterday, in a bid to raise money for sexually abused children.
The event was organised by an offshoot of the Body Shop, the Body Shop at Home Consultants, for the charity Protect the Child.
The idea was that participants had to pass a key to each other and travel throughout the country via various modes of travel without using public transport.
The Ramsbottom leg of the journey started at 5.30pm and arrived in Rochdale at 8pm.
Fundraisers donned fancy dress and had a Ramsbottom pub crawl to help create awareness for the charity.
