POLICE have appealed for witnesses who may have seen a Blackburn man in the hour before his death.
Ian Lord, 35, was discovered collapsed in Brookway, Waterloo, on Thursday night.
Police have launched an investigation into the death and are considering the possibility he may have taken an overdose of antidepressants.
Mr Lord, who is believed to have left his home some time after 8pm, was wearing pale blue adidas tracksuit bottoms, a blue waterproof jacket, blue checked shirt and white trainers. He was found collapsed around 9.15pm.
Detective Inspector Jim Elston today said: "We are after hearing from anyone who saw him after he left his home to when he was found."
Police say it is not known at this stage how Mr Lord died but believe he may have taken antidepressants tablets.
A man was arrested shortly after the discovery of Mr Lord for possession of a class c drugs. He was released after being cautioned and is now helping police with their inquiries into the death of Mr Lord.
