POLICE are appealing for a witness to a fatal crash to come forward.
A 41-year-old man was killed at the weekend while riding a 125cc Aprilia motorbike along Tom Benson Way in Cottam, Preston, when he lost control at the approach to the Sports Arena roundabout.
At about 9.15pm on Saturday, May 31, he hit a traffic island, and was thrown from the bike. After being taken to Royal Preston Hospital he died.
A jogger helped give first aid, and police are asking for him to come forward.
He was in his sixties, with a slim build, short greying hair, and was wearing combat green t-shirt and shorts with the number 66 written on the shorts.
Anybody that can help should call Preston police on 01772 203203.
