BLACKBURN Art Club's forthcoming season includes a range of intriguing spoofs, thrillers and comedies.
From September 30 to October 4 they will perform Inspector Drake and the Perfekt Crime - a detective spoof by David Tristram, produced by Paul McGowan.
From November 25 - 29 Patrick Hamilton's Victorian thriller Gaslight will be performed, while comedy Wedding of the Year will take centre stage between March 2 and 6.
Finally, The Small Hours, a modern thriller by Francis Durbridge, will play between May 4 and 8.
Readings to cast these productions take place over the next two weeks.
Tonight is the reading for Gaslight, on Thursday readings for Wedding of the Year, next Tuesday readings for The Small Hours, and on June 17 potential cast members can read for Inspector Drake and the Perfekt Crime.
All readings take place at the Club Theatre, Gibraltar Street, Blackburn from 7.30pm. For more information, call (01254) 583568.
