WIZARD fun is on the cards for local 10 to 25 year olds in Burnley Youth Theatre's Christmas production.
New and existing members the theatre are invited to take part in this year's play The Sorcerer's Apprentice.
Rehearsals will start in late August, and performances are due to take place in The Burnley Mechanics in December.
Artistic Director Jacky Riddell explained: "The Sorcerer's Apprentice is a well-known story and a lot of fun.
"The message it contains is that we should all try to find our own talents and live up to our full potential. It seems a highly appropriate production for an organisation which aims to help young people to be creative and learn new things."
Auditions are being held at Burnley Youth Theatre's own premises in Queens Park Road, Burnley, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm this Friday for 10 to 12 years olds, and Friday June 13 for the over 13s.
