THE next production by Todmorden Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society will be Nunsense, the Broadway hit by Dan Gogin, performed between June 17-21.
The show, in the Hippodrome Theatre, revolves around five nuns who are staging a musical revue to raise money to bury their dearly departed sisters.
BILL Walker is making a return to the Oswaldtwistle Players - 20 years after he last worked with them - to direct their next production - Theft, by Eric Chappell.
Bill is a leading figure in the local amateur dramatic scene and has acted in and produced many plays in the area.
Audition details for the production - to be staged in October - will be announced soon.
PEPPERPOT Hill Theatre group is performing two Medieval nights on June 13, at The Olde England Kiosk, Darwen, and June 14 at Craiglands, Darwen.
Tickets cost £27.50 and include a four course banquet and entertainment.
Guests are invited to dress in medieval costume, if they wish.
Tickets are available from either venue, or Sprint Print, Bolton Road, Darwen.
