EVERTON boss David Moyes today admitted Rovers star David Dunn is on his list of summer transfer targets.
As I understand it, the Toffees chief is currently mulling over a £5.5 million bid for the England midfielder.
But a story in one of today's tabloids suggesting Moyes has already held preliminary talks with the 23-year-old is wide of the mark.
Ewood chief executive John Williams has confirmed that Rovers have not received an official offer from the Blues.
But a move from the Merseysiders is still a distinct possibility after Rovers rejected a bid from Birmingham last week.
"He's one of several players I'm interested in but no talks have taken place," said Moyes today.
Meanwhile, Ewood chief Graeme Souness has been told by Millwall to up his £2 million offer for Steven Reid or forget about signing the Republic of Ireland international.
Souness had a bid rejected for the 22-year-old last week and Lions boss Mark McGhee said: "I would not sell him for less than £4-5 million.
"If I was Graeme Souness, I would be prepared to pay that because I know in two years' time I would realise what a bargain I'd picked up."
