NELSON-based company Daisy Communications is the first company in East Lancashire to achieve the Investors in People standard through Business Link's Build Your Dream Team campaign.
The campaign was launched earlier this year in association with the Learning and Skills Council Lancashire and is part of a £30million government scheme to support small businesses to achieve the award.
Daisy Communications was established at Spaces Business Centre, Nelson, in 2001and is the fastest growing telecommunications service provider in the country, now employing 26 people.
Managing director Matthew Riley said: "Many of our staff are based in our on-site call centre and we are well aware of the negative press call centre operations have had in the past. We are keen to dispel these notions and demonstrate to potential staff that we are a company that invests in its staff."
