RESIDENTS in Clitheroe are invited to have their say on the refurbishment of Brungerley Park.
Brungerley Park, off Waddington Road, is a valuable outdoor recreation facility enjoyed by many local people and visitors.
Ribble Valley Council leisure and tourism manager Chris Hughes said: "The council is concious that, because of its high usage, areas of the park are in need of refurbishment and is currently developing an improvement scheme.
"We would like to hear from all interested organisations and individuals on what should be included in the project.
"Although there is not a huge budget to carry out the work, we want to be able to make a visible difference to the park and would welcome suggestions as to what we should concentrate on."
Suggestions should be sent by the end of June to Chris Hughes, leisure and tourism manager, Ribble Valley Council, Church Walk, Clitheroe, BB7 2RA (chris. hughes@ribblevalley.gov.uk).
