ST ANNES teenager Rachel Crowe cruised to victory in Cancer Research UK's Race for Life in Preston on Sunday.
The 17-year-old, of Kilnhouse Lane, St Annes, ran the 5km women only race at Preston Sports Arena in 19 mins and four seconds.
More than 1200 women entered the race, one of many being held nationwide to raise funds for the cancer research charity.
To enter the Blackpool's Race for Life at Lawson Road (near Stanley Park) on July 9, log onto www.raceforlife.org.uk or phone 08705 134314. The race begins at 7pm, and entry costs £7.50 for adults, £4.50 for under 18s.
