SUMMER is nearly here, and a local theatre group are preparing to hit the road and take advantage of the good weather.
C'est Tous theatre company, based in Leyland, are touring the region with an outdoor production of one of Shakespeare's best loved plays -- the timeless love story Romeo and Juliet.
And C'est Tous will be stopping off at Samlesbury Hall on July 11, at 7pm, for a performance in the heart of summertime.
A star-studded cast will be bringing the play to life. Alexis Platt, 21, who stars as Romeo, is fresh from last year's Edinburgh Festival where he played the lead role in 'Borstal Boy', which later toured Manchester and Liverpool.
While actor Paul Hine, who plays Mercutio, is no stranger to Shakespearian productions after starring in the Taming of the Shrew, at London's Globe Theatre.
The actors will be dressed in C'est Tous' usual lavish costumes, with plenty of spectacular sword fights.
To make the most of the good weather, the performance will be outdoors in the grounds of the historic hall, and there will be a pre-show director's talk.
